Programme of Events

Here it is, folks! The Programme of Events for the Gleeson Clan Gathering, August 19th to 24th 2016!  I know ... you can hardly contain your excitement. Me too!

We have a great line up of talks, tours, social events, and other activities planned for this summer which promises to make the Gathering a huge success and great fun for everyone. So whether you are a Gleeson, a Gleason, a Glisson, or a Glissane, or you have a connection to one, or you simply want to be one, do come along to the event and enjoy the activities we have planned for you - EVERYONE is welcome!

Most events are free (we like to give you value for money), but all events must be reserved in advance (even the free events) in order that we know how many people will be attending each event and can plan accordingly. Additional events may be added in due course if some of the events below are overbooked or demand is high. Please post any questions or suggestions in the Comments section below.

To reserve your place on specific events, please see our Reservations page for instructions. Please note that people who book in advance will be guaranteed of getting the Gleeson Clan Gathering Conference Pack (i.e. GCG Conference bag containing GCG badge, lanyard, GCG pen, & GCG Programme).

There are lots of additional activities, meetings & events in and around Nenagh before or after the Gathering and these will be listed on our Things To Do page so come back and check it regularly. Everyone is encouraged to explore these additional activities and take advantage of all that is on offer during this special year of commemoration. You may wish to advertise your attendance at such events via the Gleeson Genealogy Forum on Facebook (again, free to join).
